LaKota Oaks, a 66-acre hotel and conference center that was recently acquired in Norwalk Connecticut, has completed a comprehensive interior design and technological renovation. The multi-million-dollar project and transformation of the historic property was led by local Norwalk-based Architectural and Interior Design Firm, Bavier Design, LLC who has positioned LaKota in the forefront of hospitality design and innovation.

LaKota Hotels & Resorts assumed management of the former Dolce Norwalk in June 2018, rebranded it "LaKota Oaks" focused on accommodating conferences and celebratory social events from the surrounding Fairfield and Westchester County areas, as well as from Manhattan, where organizations are looking to escape to a convenient retreat-like setting in Southern Connecticut for their executive programs, strategic planning sessions and team building events.

A former monastery, Lakota Oaks is set on a bucolic property which includes 1.6 miles of trails through rolling lawns and 4 ponds, gorgeous outdoor terraces, and beautifully wooded grounds. A grand oak leaf chandelier in the lobby welcomes you to the hotel's 123 beautifully-appointed guest rooms which have undergone head-to-toe renovations with attention to style, comfort, and the latest in technological accessibility. Guests enjoy top-notch amenities including complimentary high-speed wi-fi, a state-of-the-art fitness center, yoga studio, 4-lane indoor lap pool, indoor basketball and racquetball courts, outdoor tennis and bocce ball courts. An intimate bar, two restaurant options, and a food-service system designed for the convenience of conference hospitality ensures that groups of all sizes are serviced with spectacular food delivered by a warm, friendly, and seasoned staff.

The "LaKota Conference Center Concept" is a special product exclusive for meetings and conferences that is simply not available at traditional hotels or resorts. The property's unique architecture and beautiful setting delivers the latest in specialized venue offerings. Dedicated and flexible spaces allow for productive meetings from small- or medium-size groups in a state-of-the-art learning center that is perfect for board meetings, conferences, corporate retreats, and team-building events. Top-of-the-market guest rooms and amenities in addition to a new and expanded ballroom not only offer flexible space for conferences, but also the ability to accommodate events such as weddings, Bar/Bat Mitzvahs, and other special occasions.
