LXR Hotels & Resorts, Hilton's (NYSE: HLT) luxury collection brand which officially launched in December 2018, announces its debut in the Americas and Hilton's first property in Anguilla with Zemi Beach House Hotel & Spa. The 65-key, beachfront hotel is slated to become part of the LXR Hotels & Resorts brand in November 2019 following a two-month annual closure. To be called Zemi Beach House Hotel & Spa - LXR Hotels & Resorts, the resort will continue to be owned, operated and managed by the Goldstein Family of New York.

Set on a pristine beach, the six-acre luxurious retreat is nestled on the quiet and secluded Shoal Bay East in the northeast coast of Anguilla. Accessible from St. Maarten International Airport via a 15-minute sea shuttle or directly by small carriers and private jets into Anguilla's International Airport, the stunning enclave has been recognized as one of the Best Hotels in the Caribbean by Travel + Leisure for three consecutive years, as well as the No. 1 hotel in Anguilla and No. 2 in the Caribbean by U.S. News & World Report.

Accommodations

The 65-room hotel offers a range of accommodations from superior and premium guest rooms to two- and three-bedroom penthouse suites and beachfront villa suites. Designed by internationally renowned Caribbean architect Lane Pettigrew, the property's architecture pulls inspiration from Anguilla's natural environment and blends modern, clean lines with classic Caribbean building details.

In-room amenities include stocked mini bar, high-speed Wi-Fi, cable TV, motion sensor AC system, Malin + Goetz toiletries, and complimentary beach bags and flip-flops. Services also feature private chefs and in-room dining.

Amenities

A true Caribbean paradise, Zemi Beach House boasts three pools with cabanas, including an oceanfront pool with an underwater window facing the beach. While relaxing pool- or beachside, guests can indulge in complimentary poolside sorbet, fruit juices, water and sunscreen. Travelers looking to stay active can spend time in the hotel's state-of-the-art fitness center or try out the well-lit tennis court with faux lawn grass, morning vinyasa flow yoga sessions or beach volleyball. Children can also participate in a variety of activities organized by the Kids Club, including mermaid adventure experiences.

Central to the property's wellness experience, Zemi Thai House Spa is set in an authentic 300-year-old Thai House boasting 15,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor space. Housing the island's first co-ed House of Wellbeing with a heated gobek tasi, the spa offers a sun deck for mud and salt body treatments, outdoor showers and vitality pool. Spa facilities also include oversized private spa villas, couples' villas, a wellness boutique, outdoor rest areas with wave loungers and spaces for yoga and Pilates; and a meditation garden where guests can enjoy classes on mindfulness and relaxation. A fresh juice bar at the ancient Thai Rice Barn features teas and cold-pressed juices made from fruits, herbs and plants from the spa garden.

Culinary Delights

All in one exquisite location, Zemi Beach House will feature five food and beverage concepts to create an innovative culinary experience that offers a variety of settings and diverse array of tastes.

  • Stone is a fine dining restaurant serving seasonal, locally sourced, sea-to-table cuisine along with a large international selection of carefully chosen fine wines served by our knowledgeable sommelier.
  • 20 Knots is a casual "toes-in-the-sand" restaurant and beach bar offering an international menu with a variety of cuisines fused with the flavors of Latin America.
  • Rhum Room featuring more than 100 small-batch, single-estate rums that recall the Caribbean's 18th century sugarcane plantations. The refined and elegant tasting room offers small bites and the best island rums, perfect for late night cocktail service, private dinners and tastings.
