Radisson Hotel Group's upper midscale hotel brand that delivers stress-free experiences, good food and upbeat environments - is proud to announce the opening of a 98-room hotel in Wismar, Northern Germany, with MV WERFTEN. All the rooms have been created by the city's shipyard MV WERFTEN Fertigmodule and feature a unique ship's cabin design.

Located in the district known for the golden age of the Hanseatic League, the Park Inn by Radisson Wismar has opened its doors. Tan Sri Lim Kok Thay, Chairman & CEO of Genting Hong Kong and owner of MV WERFTEN; Oliver Behrendt, Managing Director of MV WERFTEN; and Thomas Beyer, Wismar's Mayor symbolically cut the blue ribbon in front of the hotel entrance at a ceremony attended by more than 150 specially invited guests.

The 98 bedrooms and suites are stylishly furnished with a contemporary design, produced in MV WERFTEN's own cabin factory in Wismar. The rooms - with interiors inspired by ships cabins - bring a unique feel to the hotel, connecting guests with the historic port town's past. The Park Inn by Radisson Wismar also features a restaurant, serving healthy and regional cuisine, two conference rooms, a bar and a lounge offering a view of the Port of Wismar.
