Hamilton Princess & Beach Club is thrilled to welcome back guests as of Friday, August 28th. As Bermuda's reigning "Grand Dame", the luxury resort is offering a special reopening package, 'Bermuda Bliss', where travelers receive up to 40% off the best available rate and a $100 resort credit. Starting at $229 per night for a Fairmont King Room, guests can enjoy the hotel's elegant rooms and relax at the iconic Pink Palace overlooking Hamilton Harbour. The offer is available now though the end of the year, with eligible stays through December 31st, 2021 and fully flexible cancellation up to 72 hours prior to arrival.

With social distancing requirements in place across the property, guests can safely make the most of their 'Bermuda Bliss' by indulging at Exhale Spa, unwinding with a workout class, and enjoying the hotel's two pools, both offering poolside food and beverage service. Those who want to feel the sand between their toes can pre-order a picnic basket and hop on the iconic pink and white jitneys - with physical distancing in place as well - and head to the private Princess Beach Club at Sinky Bay, where they have the option to relax in the in-water hammocks or partake in an array of watersports, including paddleboarding, snorkeling and kayaking. Finally, guests have some of the island's finest dining options right on their doorstep: 1609, offering stunning views over the water with local seafood delivered to the hotel's docks; Crown & Anchor, with its classic pub fare and stylish new veranda; and the brand new Duchess Café and Gelateria, perfect for a casual breakfast or fun treat to-go. As of now, the Gold Lounge, Marcus', and Marcus' on the Beach are closed.

"We are extremely pleased to officially welcome guests back to Hamilton Princess & Beach Club on the 28th of August," said Tim Morrison, General Manager of Hamilton Princess & Beach Club. "The hotel's top priority remains the safety, health and wellbeing of our Hamilton Princess family and our guests. While the global pandemic has had an unprecedented impact on our industry, our island and our team members, we are extremely grateful for the support of our colleagues during this difficult time - I know that we all look forward to getting back to work and demonstrating our famous hospitality and world-class service to all those who stay with us."

Insurance Partnership for Peace of Mind

To provide extra peace of mind for visitors, Hamilton Princess & Beach Club, through Accor, is utilizing an innovative new service in partnership with AXA, a world leader in insurance and assistance, to provide complementary medical support to in-house guests. This means that any guest with a non-urgent medical need can be put in touch with a medical practitioner over the phone for no cost. Currently available in English and French, the service will be available in German, Portuguese and Spanish by the end of the year.

Elevated Health & Safety Protocols

New health and safety protocols, developed with Hamilton Princess & Beach Club's parent company, Accor, and in line with local government guidelines, have been successfully implemented throughout the hotel following a comprehensive staff orientation and training in new procedures. Some of these measures include temperature checks for everyone entering the property, masks required throughout indoor public spaces and limited numbers of guests in elevators. Each guest room will be provided with a wellness kit which includes masks, gloves, hand sanitizer and disinfectant wipes. Hand sanitizer stations have also been placed in key areas throughout the hotel for convenience.

Guest bedrooms and common areas will be cleaned to the highest standards by specially trained, professional housekeepers, using EPA registered disinfectants that have proven effective in preventing the transmission of all viruses and pathogens, including COVID-19 - in accordance with local health guidelines. As an additional precaution, guest rooms will be deep cleaned and left vacant for a minimum of 48 hours after each stay.

The new operational standards being implemented at Hamilton Princess & Beach Club, and at Fairmont properties across North & Central America, were developed and vetted by a team of expert advisors to ensure maximum efficacy in preventing the spread of all viruses and pathogens, including COVID-19, with oversight by Bureau Veritas, a world leader in testing, inspections and certification; Dr. Amesh Adalja, Senior Scholar at the Johns Hopkins University Center for Health Security & fellow with the Infectious Diseases Society of America; and Ruth Petran, Ph.D., CFS, Senior Corporate Scientist, Food Safety and Public Health, for Ecolab, global leaders in cleaning and hygiene, and trusted advisors to the CDC.
