Etéreo, Auberge Resorts Collection Is Now Accepting Reservations To Its Ethereal Oceanfront Retreat In Mexico’s Riviera Maya
Scheduled for December 202175 RoomsHotel website

Auberge Resorts Collection, the award-winning luxury hospitality brand, announces that Etéreo, Auberge Resorts Collection—a new resort set amongst a protected mangrove forest along a pristine stretch of the Caribbean Sea—will open its doors this December and is now accepting reservations. The brand's third luxury resort in Mexico will be located within the new luxury Kanai development and just 30 miles from Cancun International Airport. Inspired by the ancient Mayan belief that renewal stems from active exploration of the elements, the resort's luxury accommodations are entirely oceanfront or oceanview, a rare Riviera Maya experience, and the perfect setting for ringing in the holiday season. Etéreo, Auberge Resorts Collection will embody positive change and more conscious living defined by breathtaking beaches, awe-inspiring natural surroundings, extraordinary cuisine and experiences that facilitate rejuvenation in every sense of the word.
Set against a backdrop of brilliant white sand beach on a turquoise bay with the region's largest reef just 250 feet offshore, resort amenities will offer an immediate connection to the surroundings with five restaurants, two swimming pools, an events lawn, enriching kids' club and one-of-a-kind experiences that explore the Yucatán Peninsula. Etéreo is a design lover's dream brought to life by the team at Meyer Davis, whose vision juxtaposes natural materials with luxurious modern furnishings and pays homage to Mexican artists and designers. Design elements are grounded by the late Mexican master Miguel Felguerez's key Mayan life cycle motif created especially for Etéreo and featured throughout the property alongside art pieces, lighting, and furniture from other studios across Mexico. Its strikingly modern buildings will unfold towards the waterfront and invite guests to enjoy a lifestyle that flows between indoors and out with open-air spaces across property. The expansive oceanfront and oceanview guest studios and suites will feature a king bed or two queen beds and luxurious bathrooms with dual vanities and soaking tubs. Floor-to-ceiling sliding doors will open up to views of the Caribbean Sea and large terraces with outdoor living space and private plunge pools.
Central to everything at Etéreo, Auberge Resorts Collection is the chance to renew that which enriches life: relationships, inspiration, connection to nature, one's senses, natural rhythms, and sense of appreciation. From outdoor adventures that offer an up-close look at nature to time spent with local artisans learning about their craft, the resort's on and off-site experiences program has been designed to celebrate the vibrancy of the Yucatán and its storied culture. Wrapped around the trunk of an age-old tree, Mayan-inspired signature restaurant Itzam offers innovative exploratory flavors and panoramic ocean views from its open-air restaurant, lounge terrace, and private dining room, Pixán. Further exploring the destination's culture and history, Che Che will revere 'nikkei' tradition and tell the story of techniques of Japan as told through Latin American ingredients. For wellness seekers, Sana, An Auberge Spa, will welcome guests to a serene healing space inspired by ancient practices and set forward by modern wellness trends.
