Jens HeierA German national, Mr. Heier joined the resort on 15 February 2010 from St. Regis Hotel Shanghai, where he held the position of Executive Chef which he has successfully been involved in the set up and implementation of the standards and policies for the Culinary Division. Mr. Heier started his career in hospitality industry back in Germany, following which he relocated and gained valuable experience in Italy, Switzerland, Korea, Vietnam and China. Prior to joining Amari Orchid Pattaya, Mr. Heier has worked in several five-star hotel groups such as Hyatt, Intercontinental, Hilton, Marco Polo and Starwood Hotels and Resorts. In his new role, Mr. Heier, award-winning chef of the year in Berlin and Seoul/Korea, will be in charge of the overall operation and administration of the Culinary Team at Amari Orchid Pattaya where he will manage a Kitchen brigade of 100. With over 20 years experience as a successful chef, Mr. Heier has acquired extensive knowledge and skills to competently lead the kitchen team and further contribute to the success of the resort.
