Francis Walters has been appointed Director of Food & Beverage at Cypress Bend Resort in Shreveport
Walters, a classically trained chef with more than 26 years of culinary experience, began his training under Maurice Couturier, an accomplished and renowned French Chef who was also a private chef to the late King Hussein of Jordan. A member of the Chaine Des Rotisseurs, Walters previously served as executive chef of Sam Houston Race Park in Houston, Texas; Landry’s Aquarium Restaurant in Kemah, Texas; and the legendary Rainbow Lodge restaurant in Houston. Located 73 miles south of Shreveport, Louisiana, Cypress Bend Golf Resort is an intimate, full-service resort nestled in a forest of oak and pine trees on the shores of Toledo Bend Lake.
