Manish PuriManish joined Six Senses two years ago, in the role of General Manager at the dramatic Evason Ma’in Hot Springs & Six Senses Spa in the Kingdom of Jordan. During that time, the Evason Ma’in won awards for architectural design and was frequently featured in the ‘hot lists’ of international magazines, such as Conde Nast Traveller and Travel & Leisure, most recently having been nominated for a prestigious Virtuoso Best of Best Award. The resort became popular as a luxury escape for Royalty, government and business elite as well as the leisure market. Manish has extensive experience of the hospitality industry, having worked in some of the best hotels in the world for over 18 years. After graduating from the Oberoi Hotel School he started his career with Oberoi hotels in India working in the flagship property in Mumbai. He then moved to open the legendary Burj Al Arab in Dubai as Private Dining Manager where his responsibilities included setting the exacting standards for en-suite dining. Manish was then offered the opportunity of joining the newly opened Leela Palace Kempinski Bangalore, overseeing the concept designs for restaurants, bars and banqueting and was soon promoted to Food & Beverage Manager. Wanting experience of a larger operation, Manish joined the opening team of the Grand Hyatt Mumbai. He spent time at the boutique, exclusive, Imperial New Delhi as EAM Food & Beverage. Then moved to higher responsibilities in the famous Taj Hotel, Palaces and Resorts as Executive Assistant Manager of the hotel.
