Blakeslee, the former Vice President of Strategic Business Development for one of the most exciting and well-known brands in the United States, Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas, is well qualified to achieve the projections for InterContinental Dallas’ financial performance, positive cash flow for operations and low employee turnover. During his tenure at the Palms, Blakeslee oversaw the newest addition to the Palms experience, Palms Place Hotel & Spa, a 47- story, 599-luxury suite and penthouse masterpiece. Prior to his post at the famed Palms Place Hotel & Spa, Blakeslee served as Vice President of Sales and Marketing at The Harmon Hotel, Spa and Residences in Las Vegas where he was responsible for managing all aspects of public relations, marketing, business development, revenue management and direct sales. Blakeslee’s career achievements also include his Director of Sales and Marketing position at the St. Regis Resort in Monarch Beach, the only Mobil 5 Star and AAA 5 Diamond rated resort in California. He also thrived in the same position at Lake Lawn Resort in Wisconsin and at Carmel Valley Ranch in California. Other positions held are Director of Sales at The Venetian Resort, Hotel and Casino, and Monterey Plaza Hotel & Spa.
