Matt Wehling has been appointed Managing Director, Development, for the Northwest and Southwest United States Regions at Hilton

Hilton Worldwide today announced the promotions of Matt Wehling and Ted Ent as the Vice Presidents and Managing Directors, Development, for the Northwest and Southwest United States Regions, respectively. These positions were created to better manage the development pipelines in these North American regions and ensure the strategic expansion of Hilton Worldwide’s portfolio of brands. In their roles, Wehling and Ent will address development opportunities and foster relations with current and potential partners in these areas. Prior to their promotions, the northwest and southwest regions were grouped together as the “central region,” in which Wehling and Ent both worked, and the “western region.” Wehling began his career in hospitality nearly 20 years ago with HFS, now Wyndham Hotels & Resorts, in franchise development. In 1996, Wehling moved to Red Roof Inns, Inc. to assist in the launch of their newly formed franchise development arm. For the last decade, Wehling has held development positions with Hilton Worldwide, specifically in the central region.
