James Roberts has been appointed Hotel Manager at Hotel Duval in Tallahassee
Roberts comes to Hotel Duval from the Emerald Grande at HarborWalk Village in Destin, Fla., where he served as Rooms Division Manager and acting General Manager in the absence of the Chief Operating Officer. Prior to joining the Emerald Grande team, Roberts worked on the resort operations team for Wyndham Vacation Resorts. During his time with Wyndham, Roberts assisted in the opening of a newly-acquired 260-unit property, training and developing the guest services department. Roberts has been in the hospitality industry for most of his life and formally began his hotel career as a valet attendant at Harrah’s St. Louis in St. Louis, Mo. He quickly found the service aspect of hospitality enjoyable and decided to pursue a profession in the industry.
