Rajat Chatterjee has been appointed General Manager at The Dubai Marriott Harbour Hotel & Suites
Rajat Chatterjee has been appointed as the hotel's General Manager, and Hagop Tchaparian has been named Director of Sales. The new team members will play a vital role in building on the success achieved by the hotel in 2012, and will further develop the properties positioning within Dubai and the Middle East. Rajat Chatterjee has over 20 years of hospitality experience encompassing rooms and food and beverage operations. He joined Marriott in 2002 as Director of Rooms, followed by Director of Operations at the 355 room JW Marriott, Mumbai, which is considered one of Marriott's key flagship hotels in India. In 2005, Rajat had the opportunity to open the 236 room Courtyard by Marriott, Chennai as pre-opening General Manager and helped establish the Courtyard brand in India.
