Eric FavrePreviously General Manager of the Djibouti Palace Kempinski, Favre returns to his homeland after a successful three-years abroad. Favre can already look back on a 30-year distinguished career in the luxury hotel industry, with time spent at the Hotel Au Lac in Lausanne-Ouchy, The Oriental in Bangkok, the Al Kohzara Hotel in Riyadh and the Royal Savoy in Lausanne, where Favre served as Resident Manager. In 1992 Favre successfully implemented the extensive renovation of Le Mirador Resort Hotel and Spa and was appointed as Director of the Hotel Management School Les Roches in 1996. Most recently, Favre has enjoyed a 10-year career with Kempinski Hotels. Before he took over the management of the Djibouti Palace Kempinski in 2010, Favre served from 1999-2009 as General Manager and board member of Le Mirador Kempinski Resort Hotel on Lake Geneva. During this time, he also served as President of the Alumni Association of Hotel Management School in Lausanne and as President of the Swiss Deluxe Hotels. He will be taking over from Niklaus Leuenberger, who has managed the hotel since its inception.
