Mario Candeias has been appointed Managing Director at Las Ventanas al Paraiso, A Rosewood Resort in San Jose del Cabo
Rosewood Hotels & Resorts® is pleased to announce that Mário Candeias has been appointed Managing Director of Las Ventanas al Paraíso, A Rosewood Resort in San Jose del Cabo, Mexico. In his new role, Mr. Candeias will oversee all areas of the legendary Five-Diamond property, including the resort’s 83 luxury suites and villas, three signature restaurants and spa. Mr. Candeias joins Las Ventanas al Paraíso with over 22 years of experience in the luxury hospitality industry. Most recently, he spent two years with Pestana Hotels & Resorts, the preeminent hotel company in Portugal and one of the largest in the world, where, as Director of Operations, he launched Pestana LUXURY Hotels, the brand’s new luxury hotel division. “Mário is a leading visionary in the hospitality industry and we are delighted to welcome him to the Rosewood family to lead efforts at Las Ventanas al Paraíso,” said Radha Arora, president of Rosewood Hotels & Resorts. “His wealth of experience, enthusiasm and business savvy will ensure Las Ventanas continues to enjoy its reputation as one of the most innovative and legendary properties in the world.”
