Jannette Berrios VillanuevaHailing from La Concha Renaissance Resort where she spent six years as executive chef, Berríos pulls from a robust culinary history with additional positions held at venues such as The Ritz-Carlton New York, Central Park, The Ritz-Carlton, Atlanta, The Ritz-Carlton, San Juan and Norwegian Cruise Lines where she worked aboard the Pride of Hawaii, Pride of America, Pride of Aloha and the Norwegian Wing. As the first woman to be selected for the Puerto Rico National Culinary Team, Berríos has lined up a variety of accolades celebrating her craft including her acknowledgement as the youngest member ever elected to the San Juan Chapter as a silver medalist at the Chaine des Rotisseus USA finals. Berríos’ nomadic experiences developed her unique expertise in Puerto Rican flavors with influences from French, Mediterranean and Pacific Rim cuisines. Among the new dishes Berríos will be adding to the property’s repertoire are Mofongo Gnocchi, Pollo “Montadito” and a Deconstructed Apple Pie A La Mode.
