Casey Grieme Hospitality industry leader Marriott International proudly announces Casey Grieme as dual general manager overseeing the Courtyard Las Vegas Convention Center and Residence Inn Las Vegas Convention Center. Grieme is moving from San Diego to manage the Las Vegas Convention Center hotels. First joining the company at the Marriott Conference Center in Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport as a high school intern, Grieme had the opportunity to work in several departments. He was then hired to work as a front desk clerk, where his passion for the hotel industry continued to build. The experience led Grieme to major in hotel management at the University of Nevada Las Vegas. Grieme's loyalty to the brand continued as he worked his way through college as a front desk clerk at the Courtyard Las Vegas Convention Center. Upon graduation, he moved into a sales manager role at the Las Vegas Event Booking Center, where he worked for seven Marriott hotels in the region before serving as both guest care and rooms care manager at the Courtyard Las Vegas Henderson/Green Valley. Grieme was then promoted to assistant manager at the Residence Inn Las Vegas Hughes Center. In 2009, Grieme accepted his first general manager position at the Residence Inn San Diego/Rancho Bernardo/Carmel Mountain Ranch. During his tenure at the hotel, he was honored with Marriott's Spirit to Serve Award for his efforts in leading the local Culture Council in San Diego. In December 2012, Grieme took his next appointment as the opening general manager of the Residence Inn San Diego Del Mar. His outstanding leadership and hard work earned him the honor of 2013 RI Opening GM of the Year. Grieme is excited to make the move back to Las Vegas along with his wife, Ruby, and their two children, Braden and Caitlin.
