Juan E. MartinezThe JW Marriott Austin recently hired executive chef Juan Martinez to oversee the hotel’s three in-house restaurants, as well as all of the hotel’s culinary operations for banquets, meetings, catering and more. Martinez has more than 15 years of experience in the culinary and hospitality industry. Before joining the JW Marriott Austin, he served as executive chef at the Marco Island Marriott Beach Resort, Golf Club & Spa for three years. The JW Marriott Austin’s three restaurants will include a full-service regional Italian restaurant, a restaurant highlighting local regional cuisine and a restaurant with a walk-up food truck-style window on Congress Ave. Additionally, a full-service Starbucks will be located inside the hotel.
