Michele Halpin has been appointed General Manager at Q&A Hotel in New York
Furnished Quarters, the largest provider of temporary furnished apartments in New York and Boston, announced today that it has selected Michele Halpin to act as general manager of Q&A, the company’s new residential hotel. Halpin will assume her role immediately, and Q&A is set to open in spring 2015 at the iconic 70 Pine in Manhattan’s Financial District. Halpin, 33, began her hospitality career in 2003 and has held leadership roles with such brands as Hilton, Intercontinental and Marriott. She has a proven ability to market properties, secure and sustain sales, and to maintain a high level of guest satisfaction. During her career, Halpin has opened various Marriott properties in the northeastern United States. A graduate of Saint Thomas Aquinas College, she received high honors and holds a bachelor’s degree in art therapy. Halpin has completed studies toward a master’s degree in social work at New York University.
