Kornél Magyar has been appointed Musical Director at Aria Hotel Budapest
The Library Hotel Collection welcomes Kornél Magyar as musical director of its newest boutique hotel Aria Hotel Budapest. Drawing from more than 15 years of his interdisciplinary creative career, Magyar oversees all hotel musical programming and guest experiences at Budapest’s first-ever musically-themed hotel located in the historic city center near St. Stephen’s Basilica. Magyar is responsible for curating the hotel’s extensive music library collection, managing the ambient audio in all common spaces, liaising partnerships with neighboring music venues, and coordinating musical experiences for guests in and beyond the hotel. Unique to the Library Hotel Collection portfolio, the Musical Director leads Aria Hotel Budapest’s concierge services to ensure truly tailored and memorable experiences for guests at the hotel. Most recently, Magyar developed content and social media strategy, managed client relations, and executed special events as both online media manager for the Danubia Symphony Orchestra Obuda and concert communications manager for the Modern Art Orchestra jazz big band. In these concurrent roles, he directed integrated communications tactics to spread awareness of the orchestras to drive ticket sales.
