In this role, Jennings will apply his background specializing in the Northeast urban hotel sector to oversee operations of the portfolio’s East Coast properties with a continued focus on optimizing performance and executing the brand’s strategic growth plan. Prior to joining the Destination Hotels team, Jennings spent more than 20 years in executive leadership roles for Hyatt Hotels Corporation looking after properties ranging from 500 to more than 2,000 rooms. During his last assignment with Hyatt, Jennings served as general manager of the Hyatt Regency in Bethesda, MD. Following his tenure with Hyatt, Jennings was recruited by Kimpton Hotels to oversee six properties based in Washington, DC. During the next seven years, his responsibilities expanded to provide leadership and regional oversight of 17 Kimpton hotels across the United States. Jennings serves on multiple boards of directors including the executive committee of Destination D.C. He is also the co-chair of the Destination D.C. Convention Committee.
