Caroline WilmotPlaya Largo Resort & Spa, the newest addition to Marriott Internationals Autograph Collection, is proud to announce the appointment of Caroline Wilmot as Spa and Wellness Director for its Ocean Spa, set to open in winter 2016. In her new role, Wilmot will oversee the development of all of Ocean Spas wellness programs, create inventive spa treatments, manage the salon, fitness, kids club and spa personnel, as well as oversee the day-to-day operations of the facility to ensure a world-class spa experience. Ocean Spa wi ll consist of six treatment rooms total, with one couples room, three manicure and pedicure stations and two hair stations, as well as a kids club and state-of-the-art fitness center. Born in the U.K., Wilmot moved to Chicago in 2001 where she became an active member of the spa and wellness industry, serving as the Membership and Operations Director for The Spa at Trump International Hotel & Tower, a Forbes five-star and AAA Five-Diamond luxury hotel spa in the Windy City. A seasoned pro in building spa and wellness programs from the ground up, Wilmot looks forward to developing Playa Largos spa offerings and launching the Ocean Spa brand to make it a household name. Wilmot began her spa career with Steiner, a spa operator for Carnival, Royal Caribbean and Disney Cruise Line and more. She was also the Assistant Club Manager at Holmes Place Health Club in Chicago where she helped expand the Holmes brand in the U.S. market through targeted media relations and exclusive member events.
