Sean KennertyHilton Worldwide (NYSE: HLT) today announced the promotion of Sean Kennerty to the position of general manager of Hilton Dallas/Park Cities. In this new position, Kennerty will oversee all day-to-day operations of the 224-guest room hotel and will report directly to Area Vice President Andy Slater. Hilton Dallas/Park Cities hotel is nestled between the affluent Highland Park and Preston Hollow neighborhoods just north of downtown Dallas. The Texas-chic-style hotel offers 4,000 square-feet of meeting space, a roof top pool, as well as convenient access to Love Field Airport and Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport. The hotel is also home to the acclaimed Grain Restaurant where guests enjoy a contemporary cowboy atmosphere and a fresh, locally sourced menu. Kennerty got his start with Hilton in 2004 as director of front office operations at Hilton Dallas Lincoln Centre. Shortly thereafter, he was promoted to director of guest services at the legendary Hilton Anatole. During his nine-year tenure at Hilton Anatole, Kennerty held positions of increasing responsibility including senior event manager and director of rooms, a post he held since 2009. Kennerty began his career in hospitality in 1996 at the Westin Galleria in Dallas after studying Business Management at the University of North Texas.
