Thomas Doyle Thomas Doyle has been appointed general manager of Clayton Hotel Chiswick ahead of the completion of an impressive refurbishment and extension project at the hotel costing over £20m. London-born Doyle joins the four-star standard, 227-bedroom hotel and conference centre from Jurys Inn, where he worked his way up to becoming general manager of the company’s Islington property. Further appointments to the management team include head chef Gaurav Puri. Gaurav previously worked at Claridge’s as a sous chef. His career has also included positions at The Berkeley, The Langham London, and with the Gordon Ramsay Group. Lukasz Klosiewicz has been appointed meetings and events manager, moving from Clayton Crown Hotel in Cricklewood. Gaurav Dhaul becomes director of sales, joining from Grange Hotels where he was sales manager, while Lauren Cooper joins as HR manager, from Accor New Zealand. Clayton Hotel Chiswick, formerly the Chiswick Moran Hotel, was acquired by Dalata Hotel Group as part of the €452.3m [£324m] purchase of nine hotels from Moran Bewley’s Hotel Group in February 2015. It was rebranded with the Clayton name in May.
