Samir Arora named Cluster GM at R Hotels
R Hotels has appointed a new cluster general manager for two properties in Dubai: Downtown Dubai and Hawthorn Suites by Wyndham. The newly appointed cluster GM, Samir Arora, previously served as GM of the Ramada Downtown Dubai for the last two and a half years. During his time in this role, Arora oversaw the refurbishment of the 181 key property. In his new role as cluster general manager, Arora will oversee the day-to-day operations of both hotels. Arora brings over 25 years of experience to this new role, with previous posts at Emaar Group as resident manager for Vida Downtown, and executive assistant manager at Al Manzil Downtown.
