Prior to his new role in Cambridge, Richard has spent the past year on secondment as cluster director of business development for Hilton, UK. During his secondment, Richard was responsible for development and strategy at 14 regional UK Hilton Hotels, covering all segments and channels to maximise revenue and profit. His secondment followed two years as hotel manager at Hilton Bristol. Richard has so far worked in 10 Hilton hotels across three countries. The hotel, which opened its doors as a Hilton Hotels & Resorts property for the first time last month, has seen a promising start to the year, and Richard is keen to see the hotel anchor its roots in the city.
