Liz Phillips has been appointed Director of People at Macdonald Hotels (UK)
Phillips will bring over 20 years of experience of leading large-staff hospitality businesses with her when she starts the role on 1 September. Most recently she worked as HR director at Mitchells & Butlers, whose brands include All Bar One, Miller & Carter, Browns and Premium Country Restaurants. Macdonald Hotels & Resorts recently invested £1.25m over three years in a new cloud-based HR system, which will operate 24/7.The group currently operates 55 hotels and resorts across the UK, Ireland, Spain and Portugal.
