Eric VialeEric Viale has been appointed Regional Director General of InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) for Portugal, responsible for all the establishments directly managed by the group in that country. Formerly Regional Director of IHG for Porto, in charge of the InterContinental Porto-Palacio das Cardosas and Crowne Plaza Porto, he has been entrusted with the reins of two other five-star establishments: InterContinental Lisbon and InterContinental Estoril . In addition to developing quality and financial results, Eric Vialeaura's mission is to identify new development opportunities in order to strengthen IHG's presence in this dynamic market. Eric Viale has been representing IHG in Portugal since 2012, successively as General Manager of the InterContinental Porto-Palacio das Cardosas and then Regional Director General Porto. Joined this hotel group in 2003, Eric Viale was Director of Sales and Marketing of the InterContinental Paris Le Grand from April 2008 to April 2011. Eric Viale previously held two positions in Revenue Management for IHG: Regional Director of Revenue Management for Southern Europe from December 2003 to April 2005 and then until April 2008, Director of the Revenue Management Division for Europe, where he presided over the destinies of all the European hotels managed by IHG. Before joining IHG, Eric Viale worked for 8 years for the ACCOR group, occupying various operational positions and in the field of Revenue Management. He began his career in various groups, including Frantour, Concorde and Relais & Châteaux.
