Howard Wu has been appointed President of North America and Chief Technology and Solutions Officer at Millennium Hotels and Resorts (MHR)
Millennium Hotels and Resorts is pleased to announce the appointment of Howard Wu to President of North America and Chief Technology and Solutions Officer. Mr. Wu, who previously held the position as an Independent Non-Executive Director at Millennium Hotels and Resorts, brings broad information technology, data security and e-commerce experience to his new role. Having held senior positions with technology companies in North America and Europe, he has worked with a range of companies from hardware manufacturing to software services. Prior to joining Millennium Hotels and Resorts, Mr. Wu was Vice President and Head of Software Defined Infrastructure at Ericsson, a Fortune 500 company. Before Ericsson, Mr. Wu was President of Greater China and General Manager of Canada for Joyent, a cloud computing company in Silicon Valley that was acquired by Samsung. Mr. Wu will be based in New York City where he will oversee the US properties. His responsibilities as Chief Technology and Solutions Officer will involve overseeing all technical aspects of the company and direct the brand’s strategic direction, development and future growth in the realm of IT and OT. As President of North America, Mr. Wu will oversee properties from the Millennium Hotels and Resorts portfolio in Anchorage, Boston, Boulder, Buffalo, Chicago, Cincinnati, Durham, Los Angeles, Minneapolis, Nashville, New York and Scottsdale.
