Victor Cortes has been appointed Executive Vice President of Development at Enchantment Group
Enchantment Group, a leader in the development, management and experiential programming of luxury boutique resorts, announces the appointment of Victor Cortes as Executive Vice President of Development. A talented leader with an excellent track record implementing strategic business positioning for luxury properties, Cortes will oversee all development initiatives for Enchantment Group, supervising a distinguished collection of award-winning properties including Enchantment Resort and Mii amo, a destination spa, in Sedona, AZ; the Tides Inn in Irvington, VA; and The Cove, Eleuthera in the Bahamas.
A veteran real estate executive with expertise in management, entitlements, construction, finance, and design, Cortes brings a wealth of development experience in highly competitive markets to Enchantment Group. Most recently, he served as Vice President of Development at Bald Mountain Development, where he skillfully led the design and construction of the Four Seasons Resort & Residences in Napa Valley, CA. Prior to his time in Napa Valley, Cortes spearheaded the development of the Chileno Bay Club, Resort & Residences, the Rosewood San Miguel De Allende and Artesana Rosewood Residences, all part of the Bald Mountain Development portfolio. Additionally, Cortes formerly served as Director of Development at destination resort and luxury adventure travel company Intrawest Placemaking.
In his new role, Cortes will lead the design, planning, pre-construction, construction, and close-out phases of all Enchantment Group capital improvement projects. He is primed to have an enormous impact on the group's individual operations, and will be instrumental in vetting potential acquisitions as the company's portfolio grows. A respected industry professional with international development experience, Cortes graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics & Political Science from the University of Arizona.
