Troy Karnoff

Kokua Hospitality, LLC, an independent hotel management company based in San Francisco, is pleased to announce Troy Karnoff as the director of sales and marketing of Courtyard Marriott Long Beach Airport. In his role, Karnoff is responsible for leading a team of three, negotiating and contracting national and local corporate accounts, and developing the property's strategic sales and marketing plans.

Karnoff brings over 20 years of experience in the hospitality industry to the Courtyard Marriott Long Beach Airport and Kokua Hospitality team. Coming full circle, Karnoff's first job in the industry was with Marriott, initially working various operational roles at the Newport Beach Marriott Hotel & Spa and working his way up to director of group sales. After 16 years with the company, he transitioned into the Conventions and Visitors Bureau sector at Discover Los Angeles, Team San Jose, and the Greater Phoenix Convention & Visitors Bureau. Prior to making the move back to California and joining the Kokua team in his current role, Karnoff served as manager of new business development for Arena Americas in Chicago.

A Bellflower, California native and current Long Beach resident, Karnoff spent 18 years working with the Special Olympics and is involved with multiple community organizations, including the LGBTQI Center of Long Beach and Art Theatre of Long Beach. His passion for volunteering compliments the Courtyard Long Beach Airport and Kokua Hospitality's culture and adds to the hotel's already existing presence as active volunteers at the Long Beach Rescue Mission, WomenShelter of Long Beach, and Children's Hospital Los Angeles.
