Rob van der Heijden has been appointed Chief Security Officer at protel hotelsoftware GmbH
Rob van der Heijden, a security expert with over 25 years of professional relevant experience in Information Technology has been appointed Chief Security Officer for the Global Operation of protel hotelsoftware GmbH. Prior to joining protel, Rob served as Senior IT Specialist in the automotive industry, responsible for the technical and management aspects of the company’s mission-critical data. Rob has also worked for the Dutch government as a Senior IT Infrastructure Systems Specialist. His responsibilities included information security, network security, project management and internal controls. Rob is a Certified Information Security Manager and Information Systems Auditor and an alumnus of RIT's B. Thomas Golisano College of Computing and Information Sciences where he received a credential in Cybersecurity.
