Holly Palmer

Mii amo, the renowned destination spa, is pleased to announce the appointment of Holly Palmer to Head Chef. Immersed in Sedonas sacred Native American heritage, Mii amo is heralded for its spiritual experiences, wellness amenities, and imaginative culinary offerings comprised of wholesome and locally-sourced ingredients.

A seasoned and innovative chef, Palmer built her culinary foundation as a child flipping through cookbooks and preparing meals for her father. Cooking transitioned from a necessity to a passion later in life, following a long career in retail, as she stayed home to care for her daughter. The creativity involved in crafting meals that nourished her family eventually lead Palmer to pursue a career in the kitchen. This change initiated a life transition that moved her from Connecticut to Phoenix, and now Sedona, to dive deep into the culinary world.

At Mii amo, Palmer will lend her distinctive point of view to the destination spas fresh, organic and contemporary cuisine. She will oversee culinary operations and create new menu items for Mii amo Caf, the juice bar, in-suite dining and special events, adding her own creative flair to the spas wellness-centric cuisine.

Palmer most recently served as Party Chef for Michaels Catering, the Southwests largest caterer, and prior to that developed her reputation in Arizona cooking at landmark restaurants including Roys, Gertrudes at the Desert Botanical Garden, Phoenix Country Club, Vincents on Camelback and House of Tricks. Palmer graduated with honors from Connecticut Culinary School.
