The appointment comes at an exciting time for Fairmont Royal Pavilion, following a major refurbishment, and its soon to launch new room categories and year-round child-friendly policy, which start from 18th December 2018.
Robert Scully joined the team in November as Director of Food & Beverage.
Scully brings over 15 years experience in the industry, having started his career in hospitality with Starr Restaurant Organisation. He has also worked for the Graces Group and The Peacock Inn before joining Fairmont Royal Pavilion.
Scully will be working across the hotel's three F&B outlets, including Taboras Restaurant and Palm Terrace Restaurant. 2019 will see the introduction and implementation of new dining concepts and experiences.

Katia joins Fairmont Dubai from her most recent role as Director of Housekeeping at the Fairmont Marina Abu Dhabi, where she has been part of the pre-opening team since April 2018. Prior to this role, Katia was chosen to assist the housekeeping department at the iconic Raffles Hotel in Singapore to reopen the property after a two-year renovation.
15 October 2019 — Prior to his new capacity, Kourotsidis served as the general manager at The Diplomat Radisson Blu Hotel, Residence & Spa Bahrain, where he successfully managed an extensive 12-month refurbishment.
Kourotsidis will be responsible for the overall operations, performance and strategic directions in conjunction with the brand strategy in delivering exceptional results.
