The St. Regis Bal HarbourResort, a AAA Five-Diamond and ForbesFive-Star resort, today announced the appointment ofAndreas Schatzschneiderasexecutivechef.Schatzschneiderwill oversee all culinary operations including the luxury resort'sfour distinct diningvenues,inaddition to RoséSundays, the resort's award-wining Sunday Brunch offering.TheGermanchef brings more than25years ofindustry experience with him to The St. Regis Bal HarbourResort.

Throughout his career, ChefSchatzschneiderhas servedin a number of culinary positionsat various high-profilepropertiesin the Ritz-Carlton portfolio, including most recently asexecutivechef at the Ritz Carlton, DubaiInternational Financial Center, UAE.Prior to that, he was the executive chef at The Ritz-Carlton,Cancun,executivesouschef at the Ritz-Carlton, Guangzhou, China, andexecutivechef at Ritz-Carlton, Vienna Austria.

Schatzschneider got his culinary start at a small family-owned restaurant in the suburbs of Berlinbefore laterjoining The Ritz-CarltonHotel Company.Fluent inEnglish, German and Spanish,Schatzschneider'sbroadinternational experiencebrings with it aunique and refreshing perspective to The St. Regis Bal Harbour culinaryteam.In addition to the resort's four dining venues,Schatzschneiderwilloversee banquet and catering, creatingcustommenus for the resort'slavishweddings andexquisitesocialgatherings.
