The Hotel Group, a leading national hotel management and investment company, announced today Rachel Blake has been appointed General Manager of the Hilton Garden Inn Seattle/ Bellevue Downtown.A 26-year hospitality veteran, Rachel began her career with a franchise Embassy Suites hotel where she worked as a front desk clerk. From there, Rachel held management positions including Director of Sales, Director of Operations and General Manager for several hotels around the US, including Embassy Suites by Hilton Temecula, the Sheraton Carlsbad Resort & Spa, Doubletree by Hilton Seattle Airport and her most recent position as General Manager at the Embassy Suites by Hilton Seattle North Lynnwood.

McCarthy joins THG to oversee the company’s hotel accounting operation including day to day oversight of the accounting functions, internal controls, and strategic planning. With over twenty years of experience in both hotel and corporate roles directly dealing in accounting, centralized finance environments, hotel operations, project management, and operational analysis, he will work closely with the company’s operations, development, and renovation teams.
