Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts appoints Marc Erwin Cibrowius as Executive Chef in Shangri-La Hotel, Singapore, a role he joins from his previous stint as Cluster Executive Chef in JW Marriott and The Ritz Carlton Hotel in Macau. A German native, Chef Marc brings with him more than 20 years of culinary experience, helming key positions across various Shangri-La Hotels & Resorts in Thailand, Indonesia, Oman, China and the United Arab Emirates.
In his capacity, Chef Marc will play an integral role in overseeing the daily kitchen operations and culinary management across the hotel's 11 dining concepts, banquet catering functions as well as its food safety management system.

In her new capacity, Ms Lê will oversee the daily operations of the Kowloon Shangri-La, reporting directly to Mr Juergen Doerr, Vice-President, Operations (Hong Kong & Taiwan) and General Manager of Island Shangri-La.
7 August 2020 — Mr Juergen Doerr has been appointed as the General Manager of Island Shangri-La, Hong Kong, while continuing his role as Vice-President, Operations (Hong Kong & Taiwan), effective 1 August 2020. Mr Doerr has been with the group for over 21 years, previously holding the title of General Manager at Kowloon Shangri-La.
