Samir Messaoudi has been appointed General Manager at Sheraton Oman in Muscat

Sheraton Oman Hotel the iconic landmark of the Sultanate has announced the appointment of Samir Messaoudi as General Manager of the hotel. He brings nearly two decades of experience to his new role; his last appointment was Hotel Manager at JW Marriott Marquis Doha, Qatar since June 2019.
Samir has been associated with Marriott International since 2006 joining The Ritz-Carlton, Half Moon Bay, CA in August 2006 as the IRD manager. Samir has worked in various roles in the United States before moving to the Middle East in 2010. He joined the Sharq Village & Spa, a Ritz Carlton Hotel as the Director of Banquets and gained thorough F&B experience in his roles in Doha, Dubai, Jakarta and Oman.
Oman is not new to Samir he was earlier the Hotel Manager at the Al Bustan Palace-a Ritz Carlton Hotel, in Muscat from 2016- 2019 prior to moving to Doha. Samir has also been part of the opening taskforce and support teams for a number of luxury properties including Bulgari Hotel & Resort, Dubai.
With over two decades of hands on property experience, he has led many teams on creating and enhancing F&B experiences and optimizing pop-up concepts and promotions to drive profitable revenues. He has also won many awards including the SABRE Restaurateur of the year 2012 for Middle East and Africa (Ritz-Carlton Hotels). Samir is a native Arabic speaker holding Tunisian/American citizenship. He has travelled and lived most of his career in the Middle East where he rekindled his love for soccer. He will be moving to Oman with his wife and two children.
