David Bernand

From the capital of the United States to the United State of Texas, the team at Four Seasons Resort and Club Dallas at Las Colinas is thrilled to announce David Bernand's appointment as Regional Vice President and General Manager of Texas' original urban Resort effective April 5, 2021.

David began his career with Four Seasons in Las Colinas in 1999, as the Assistant Food and Beverage Manager and Sommelier at Café on the Green, later to be rebranded and reopened as the Resort's signature restaurant, LAW. He has since held roles at multiple Four Seasons properties throughout the United States and Canada including Restaurant Manager at the former Truffles Restaurant and Studio Café in Toronto (2001), Food and Beverage Director (2004) and Hotel Manager at Four Seasons Hotel Washington, DC (2008), Resort Manager at Four Seasons Resort Scottsdale (2009) and General Manager of Four Seasons Resort Jackson Hole (2011). Most recently, David has served as General Manager and Regional Vice President of Four Seasons Hotel Washington, DC since 2019, with regional oversight of Four Seasons in Jackson Hole, Baltimore and Montreal.

During his 22-year tenure with Four Seasons, David has been essential in overseeing renovations of guest rooms and suites, opening innovative new restaurant and bar concepts and leading his team to receive countless accolades including the prestigious AAA Five Diamond and Forbes 5 Star rating in Jackson Hole and top rankings including the latest US News Best Hotel of Washington DC and 6th Best Hotel in the United States.

A native of Roanne, France, David is fluent in French, Spanish and English. He earned his Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality from Ecole Hôtelière de La Rochelle and began his hospitality career more than thirty years ago working in several Michelin star restaurants as well as his family's bakery. David is an avid triathlete and will feel right at home at Four Seasons Golf and Sports Club, named #1 Best Country Club - First Class category by AvidGolfer for five consecutive years. In addition to leading the team as General Manager for Four Seasons Resort and Club Dallas, David will have regional responsibilities for Four Seasons Resort Vail and Four Seasons Hotel Montreal.
