Leading Honolulu and Los Angeles-based hospitality management company Springboard Hospitality is pleased to announce the appointment of Elsie Florio as Head of Curated Marketing. A hotel marketing expert and industry veteran, Florio specializes in the development and execution of integrated marketing strategies that substantially increase direct revenue for hotels. In her new role with Springboard Hospitality, Florio will be responsible for the organization's ongoing digital marketing efforts and brand positioning strategy across its portfolio of 36 hotels.
In her time as an independent businesswoman before joining Springboard Hospitality, Florio garnered a reputation as a nimble project manager and creative tactician in direct sales, direct marketing, eCommerce, brand management, hospitality design, social media, communications, and email marketing. Florio's firm Inntegrated Consulting has worked with a wide range of independently owned properties, including The Mansion at Glen Cove in New York, Kenwood Inn & Spa in the Sonoma Valley, and Casa Madrona in Sausalito. Over the past decade, Inntegrated Consulting helped independent hotels grow their market share, average daily rate, and occupancy with less reliance on online travel agencies and other high commission marketing tactics.
Prior to launching Inntegrated Consulting, Florio worked in hotel operations, sales and marketing for Andaz by Hyatt, Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts and Morgans Hotel Group, producing advertising campaigns, managing public relations efforts, and implementing world class direct revenue strategies. She graduated from the University of California at Los Angeles with bachelor's degree in International Development Studies and went on to receive a master's degree in Management of Hospitality from Cornell University.
