Roberto Guerrero

Saba Rock, an iconic island destination in the British Virgin Islands, has appointed Roberto Guerrero as its new executive chef. Veneuzelan-born Guerrero now holds oversight and execution of the one-acre resort's culinary offerings under his charge.

Guerrero joins Saba Rock from INTI in the Maldives where he served as chef de cuisine. During his extensive career, the chef has spent most of his time in the Middle East as the private chef to both the Saudi and Qatar Royal Families. His international career has also spanned roles in his native Veneuzela as head chef at Hotel Boutique Isabel La Católica, Turks and Caicos as Grace Bay's Sous Chef, and Dubai as junior sous chef at Jumeirah Beach Hotel.

Guerrero is poised to charter the resort's culinary offerings to one of the most exclusive and high-quality dining outlets in the Caribbean. Guerrero plans to infuse his signature Latin American twist on traditional dishes, allowing guests to look forward to new menu items in the near future.

Saba Rock's ocean-side main restaurant offers guests elevated international cuisine options ranging fresh caught seafood to twists on local dishes and savory specialties. With a picturesque setting, the resort's restaurant has become a popular dining destination in the territory. For a more relaxed atmosphere, the resort's sunset lounge and bar is the place to have a craft cocktail and select menu with friends, and enjoy the panoramic views of the British Virgin Islands' North Sound.
