Jillian Stevens has been promoted Director of Meetings and Special Events at Grand Wailea, A Waldorf Astoria Resort in Maui

Grand Wailea, A Waldorf Astoria Resort - an iconic resort nestled on 40 acres of lush, tropical gardens fronting Maui's Wailea Beach - is pleased to announce the promotion of seasoned hospitality leader Jillian Stevens to the role of Director of Meetings and Special Events. Stevens will oversee the strategic business planning for the Meetings and Events department at the resort.
Stevens brings twenty years of seasoned hospitality experience to her new role at Grand Wailea and is frequently recognized as a leader in special events innovation. In her previous role, Stevens was the Assistant Director of Catering and Conference Services at Grand Wailea, where she assisted in the management, coordination and execution of elite programs and special events at the world-renowned resort. Prior to that, she held the title of Director of Catering and Events at the Waldorf Astoria, Chicago, leading her department to be ranked number one in Overall Satisfaction by Meeting Planners in 2017 for all Hilton Luxury Hotels and Resorts worldwide.
In her new role as Director of Meetings and Special Events, Stevens will lead her department, overseeing the strategic business planning and operations. Stevens will play an integral role in the ideation, creation and execution of special events at the resort, including weddings, incentive trips, community programming and conferences held at the property's numerous indoor and outdoor meeting spaces.
