Jan-Peer Lehfeldt has been appointed Hotel Manager at Fairmont Century Plaza in Los Angeles

The recently reopened and completely reimagined Fairmont Century Plaza, located in Century City, today announced the appointment of Jan-Peer Lehfeldt as hotel manager. With over two decades of luxury hospitality experience, Lehfeldt brings a longstanding tenure of global leadership to his new role overseeing all operations for the legendary 400-room Los Angeles hotel, which recently unveiled a comprehensive $2.5B renovation including a state-of-the-art spa; Lumiére, a French-inspired Brasserie; 63 luxury residences and 24,000-square-feet of private event space.
Prior to joining Fairmont Century Plaza, Lehfeldt has held a long and successful tenure with Fairmont and Fairmont managed hotels, holding executive roles at The Savoy, a Fairmont-managed hotel in London; Hamilton Princess Hotel & Beach Club, a Fairmont-managed hotel in Hamilton, Bermuda; and Fairmont Empress in Victoria, Canada.
Lehfeldt began his professional career with Raffles Hotel Vier Jahreszeiten in Hamburg, Germany, as an apprentice and then on to a commis de rang position at the hotel's restaurant. Following that, he worked with Raffles Hotel Singapore, one of the brand's flagship properties, as well as Mandarin Oriental and Four Seasons brands in a variety of executive positions in London, Bangkok, Phnom Penh, Mumbai and Bali. In addition, he has held the role as director of business development at Chaoying Company Pte Ltd in Singapore, and helped develop his wife's family business, Sabai Fine Thai on the Bay. In 2015, he relocated to North America as director of food & beverage at Fairmont Empress.
Lehfeldt, a veracious citizen of the world and lover of culture, is well traveled and fluent in German. When not on property, Lehfeldt and his family can be found dining at new restaurants, enjoying outdoor sports and sporting events, traveling and exploring Southern California.
