Marco Quinteros has been appointed General Manager at AC Hotel Heredia Belen
Marriott International is pleased to announce the appointment of Marco Quinteros as General Manager of the new AC Hotel Heredia Belen.
Marco Quinteros' 28-year career in the hospitality industry brings with it experience in a variety of brands and properties. During his career, he has held leadership positions such as general manager of the Courtyard by Marriott San Jose Escazú in 2008 and, four years later, the Courtyard by Marriott San Jose Airport Alajuela, where he also led the hotel's opening in the country.
In 2016 he moved to Honduras, to lead the opening of the Courtyard by Marriott San Pedro Sula at Altia Smart City and serve as General Manager.
After a year, in 2017, he settled in San Salvador, where he assumed the general management of Courtyard by Marriott San Salvador and Fairfield Inn by Marriott San Salvador simultaneously. He also led the opening of the Fairfield Inn by Marriott San Salvador, positioning it as the first Fairfield Inn in Central America and the third hotel in Marriott International's portfolio in the country.
Among other international experiences, during 201 2 he led the conversion of the Finisterre Apartments into Marriott Executive Apartments Panama City, Finisterre in Panama City, and in 2016 he assumed the position of Hotel Manager at the JW Marriott Panama.
Marco not only shines in his leadership, he is also characterized by creating environments that foster the growth and development of human talent, that is why in 2009 he was awarded the Excellence in Human Resources Award.
