Jean-Francois Brun has been appointed General Manager at Fairmont Royal Palm Marrakech
Fairmont Royal Palm Marrakech, an oasis of calm just 12km from the medina, is delighted to announce the appointment of internationally acclaimed Jean-Francois Brun as General Manager, bringing 20 years of expertise and hotelier excellence to the hotel.
In joining the prestigious resort in July 2022, Jean-Francois greets the team with motivation, enthusiasm and pride, ready for a new chapter and inspired by its exceptional location, brand positioning and offering.
Having reopened its borders in February 2022 and with Morocco's peak season commencing, it is a very exciting time to be joining the hotel and positioning it as Marrakech's finest hotel for discerning families, couples and friends alike. Marrakech is a magical destination at this time of year whilst many other holiday locations come to a close, and Jean-Francois will lead the hotel with honour for the new season.
Born in Canada, Jean-Francois' hospitality education at the University of Quebec spearheaded his career, which began in Montreal before reaching far corners of Thailand, UAE, Vietnam and working within Accor's portfolio for the last nine years. From his first General Manager role in Montreal in 2009 and joining Accor in 2014, to being appointed General Manager at the five-star hotel, SO Bangkok and leading one of Dubai's most renowned hotel openings, 25hours Dubai One Central, Jean-Francois' impressive management, leadership and acumen will capture the hotel's ethos and frames an exciting vision ahead for the brand.
