Parimal Thakor has been promoted President at Maya Hotels
Maya Hotels, a Charlotte-based hotel company, is thrilled to announce the promotion of Parimal Thakor to President.
Parimal joined Maya Hotels in 2008. Throughout his tenures, his efforts have molded the company's evolution and fostered its growth. As he carries the torch with his new role, Parimal continues to champion collaborative leadership. Parimal will oversee all strategic planning and investment activity for the company. He is focused on the company's ground-up development and directs all capital projects.
Parimal Thakor served as Vice President at Maya Hotels from 2008 to 2024. Prior to joining Maya Hotels, Parimal was employed by Hospitality Real Estate Counselors (HREC) as a consultant, where he provided specialized consulting services in the lodging and gaming industries. His duties included real estate and business valuations/appraisals, market impact and feasibility studies, litigation support, and investment analysis. Prior to that, Parimal held a variety of hotel operations roles at multiple properties, including the W Hotel - Union Square in Manhattan, Sheraton Chicago Hotel & Towers, and W Hotel Chicago City Center. Parimal received his B.A. with Honors from The School of Hospitality Business at Michigan State University.
