Felix Pina has been promoted General Manager at Malliouhana in Meads Bay

Malliouhana, managed by Storey Hospitality, is delighted to announce the promotion of Felix Pina to the role of General Manager. Felix has been instrumental in growing Malliouhana's reputation as a premier luxury destination in the Caribbean for the past two years in his previous role of Resort Manager.
On the island of Anguilla, it is common to find hospitality professionals from abroad in the top leadership role of luxury resorts. In fact, this is the first time in the 41-year history of iconic luxury resort Malliouhana that a native Anguillian has been named General Manager.
Felix Pina started his hospitality career as a beach attendant at another luxury resort on the small island of 15,000 residents. His hard work and willingness to go above and beyond was noticed and it wasn't long before he landed a role as a butler at what is now Sky Villa by Malliouhana.
Felix shined in the ultra-luxe environment of villas and his next career move was with luxury villa brand, Ani. Felix worked for Ani villas for 12 years, moving his way up the ranks to becoming General Manager of Ani Villas in the Domican Republic for 6 years. Felix next moved to the UK to learn food and beverage operations at bustling Big Easy restaurant in London, a 160-seat venue.
He was here when Laura Rose of Storey Hospitality reached out to him when the role of Resort Manager became available at Malliouhana. Felix accepted the challenge and returned to his original home in Anguilla. He has made a huge impact in the role of Resort Manager helping to create authentic cultural experiences for guests, and instilling his high level of expectations for excellence in customer relations throughout the Malliouhana team resulting in the property winning multiple awards including TripAdvisor's "Best of the Best" Award, Travel +Leisure's Top 500 "Best Resorts in the World" and "#7 Resort in the Caribbean" (#1 in Anguilla), Forbes "Best Overall Resort in Anguilla" and "Best Villas in Anguilla," Bar Soleil was named in the "Top 10 Best International Hotel Bars" by Food + Wine Magazine, and for the past two years in a row, Malliouhana's signature restaurant Celeste by Kerth Gumbs has been awarded a "Wine Spectator Award of Excellence."
