Ruthline Theysen has been appointed Complex Director of Food & Beverage at Aruba Marriott Resort & Stellaris Casino in Palm Beach, Aruba

Effective October 1, 2025, Ruthline Theysen has been appointed Complex Director of Food & Beverage. In this pivotal role, she will oversee all food and beverage operations across the complex, leading a team of over 500 associates across 15 restaurants and bars, banquets, events, culinary, and in-room dining. Her focus will center on driving strategic initiatives, enhancing service standards, and elevating the guest dining experience throughout the resort.
A proud Aruban from San Nicolas, Theysen brings an impressive blend of operational and human resources experience. She previously served as Acting Complex Director of Food & Beverage and held the position of Complex Director of Human Resources since 2014. Throughout her tenure, she has led significant initiatives in talent development, associate wellbeing, and organizational culture.
Her leadership has been recognized with numerous accolades, including the 2023 DHR of the Year, the People Brand Award for the CALA region, and the AHATA Impact Award in 2024. She also proudly accepted the 2022 Alice S. Marriott Award of Excellence for Community Service on behalf of the complex in Washington, D.C.
Theysen began her hospitality career in (1996), holding various human resources leadership roles before joining the Aruba Marriott Complex. Her deep understanding of Aruban hospitality, passion for people, and results-driven approach make her exceptionally well-suited for this dynamic role.
