Jennifer Armbruster

As Casetta rounds out its most dynamic year of growth yet, the award-winning hospitality brand led by boutique hotel lovers dedicated to creating effortlessly unique stays is pleased to announce the appointment of Jennifer Armbruster as President. At the helm of Casetta Hotels, Armbruster will oversee brand vision, strategy, and execution across all facets of the company including new concepts, portfolio expansion, and partnerships.

In her five years with the brand, she has been instrumental in shaping Casetta's operational foundation, strengthening its culture, and guiding the strategic vision that defines the company's soulful, purpose-led approach to hospitality. Her new role reflects the brand's continued commitment to a leadership structure that champions collaboration and long-term vision, positioning the company for its next chapter as it prepares to debut the highly anticipated Hotel Lucile in the buzzy neighborhood of Silverlake, CA, in early 2026.

Armbruster brings a deep, operations-led understanding of hospitality with over a decade of experience spanning a myriad of leadership roles with leading hospitality names, including Four Seasons, Fairmont, Omni Hotels & Resorts, and Relais & Châteaux-affiliated properties, including Rancho Valencia Resort & Spa in San Diego, CA. She went on to advise several high-performing hospitality groups, ultimately partnering with Casetta prior to formally joining the team.

A Defining Year of Thoughtful Expansion

Casetta marked a milestone year of expansion in 2025 with two distinctive additions to its collection of thoughtfully restored, design-led retreats: Hotel Marina Riviera, a Viking-inspired lakeside retreat in Big Bear Lake, Calif., and Hotel Willa in the heart of Taos, N.M., an art-filled, contemporary homage to traditional Pueblo architecture.

Italian for "little house" or "lodge," Casetta specializes in the restoration of storied buildings with a soul. In partnership with esteemed design firms, Casetta continues to elevate its standing as a preeminent curator of deeply authentic, modern hotel marvels that honor the history of days past through thoughtful transformations of boutique hotels and motels into one-of-a-kind treasures primed for memory-making.

Casetta's growing portfolio of celebrated boutique properties span across Southern California and the Southwest with roots dating back to the 1920s-1960s including the historic Casa Cody in Palm Springs, Calif., the oldest operating hotel in the region; The Pearl Hotel in San Diego, a mid-century modern jewel in Point Loma; and The Surfrider Malibu, the iconic beachside retreat just off the Pacific Coast Highway.

On The Horizon: Casetta's Next Era of Thoughtful Hospitality

As Casetta looks ahead to 2026, the brand will debut Hotel Lucile in Los Angeles' eclectic Silver Lake neighborhood. Housed in a reimagined 1931 church, Hotel Lucile will offer a unique blend of art, history, and contemporary amenities, including an intimate new restaurant and bar set within the building's main chapel, adorned by high ceilings and original stained glass windows; a sun-soaked pool; and a rooftop lounge and deck with stunning city views.

As a brand, Casetta is set to pursue a series of new initiatives and growth opportunities—from a growing pipeline of hospitality concepts both internationally and in the U.S., exploring developments in Italy and the Hudson Hotel in upstate New York. The brand will also introduce a slate of complementary offerings designed to deepen and diversify the guest experience, ranging from like-minded partnerships, selective retail expansion, and a forthcoming membership community.
