Dimitrios Trikaliotis named President at AICR (International Association for Front Office Managers and Assistant Hotel Managers)
AICR International (Amicale Internationale des Sous Directeurs et Chefs de Réception des Grand Hôtels) proudly announces that Dimitrios Trikaliotis , a Greek hospitality leader, has been re-elected President of AICR International for the 2026-2028 term. The election took place on 17 January 2026 in Brussels, the capital of the European Union, during a milestone year marking the 62nd anniversary of the Association and the 30th anniversary of the prestigious The David Campbell Trophy.
This re-election reflects the strong confidence and recognition of Dimitrios Trikaliotis' visionary leadership and outstanding contribution to the international hospitality community. Following an exceptionally successful tenure leading the national section of AICR from 2024 to 2026, he has once again been entrusted with guiding the Association at a global level.
Driven by great passion, strategic consistency, and an exceptionally well-composed Board, AICR International has experienced significant growth under Dimitrios Trikaliotis' leadership.
The Association welcomed nearly four new national sections and established several high-profile partnerships, including with AICR, EHL (École hôtelière de Lausanne), Forbes Travel Guide, and Bucherer. The strategic partnership with Bucherer elevated the Association's flagship project, The World's Best Receptionist, further strengthening its position as a global benchmark of excellence in front office professionalism.
His presidency was also marked by the organization of outstanding AICR International Congresses - AICRexperience, hosted in countries such as Greece and Belgium. Each edition welcomed over 200 of the world's most distinguished hospitality professionals, fostering knowledge exchange, international collaboration, and inspiration at the highest level of luxury hospitality.
Dimitrios Trikaliotis currently serves as Director of Operations at Grand Hôtel des Bains de Lavey in Switzerland. A dedicated hospitality professional, he combines extensive operational experience with a strong educational mission and a deep belief that people are the true foundation of exceptional service. His leadership has played a pivotal role in strengthening AICR International, which today represents over 1,400 members worldwide.
The 2026-2028 term marks a continuation of AICR dynamic development, with a strong focus on education, professional growth, and the ongoing elevation of standards in luxury hospitality.
