Deacon Cottrell has been appointed Assistant General Manager at Hyatt Centric Downtown Denver

A hospitality professional with proven expertise across operations, quality assurance, guest services, and financial management. Cottrell brings valuable industry insight to the position. He holds a bachelor's degree in Hotel Management from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, as well as a Master of Business Administration. He began his career in Las Vegas as a Guest Services Agent at Rio All-Suite Hotel and Casino, followed by a role as Assistant Front Desk Manager at Wynn Las Vegas. His professional journey includes quality assurance positions with airlines and hotels, providing him with a unique perspective on service standards and operational leadership.
Before joining Hyatt Centric Downtown Denver, Cottrell served as General Manager at Residence Inn Denver-Gateway Park, Hyatt House Denver-Aurora, and Courtyard Denver Tech Center, where he gained extensive experience overseeing daily operations and leading high-performing, growth-focused teams. He looks forward to bringing his detail-oriented approach and expertise to Hyatt Centric Downtown Denver.
